I feel like a fruity lemonade is the perfect addition to any summer day. So far we’ve made, and perfected, the blueberry and strawberry varieties. Now it’s time for some new ideas. What do you think I should do next?
The Perfect Strawberry Lemonade
- 3 cups strawberries
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp simple syrup
- Water to top
- Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and halve them into a pot.
- Add the honey, place onto the stove on medium heat. Stir until the juice from the strawberries release (5 mins).
- Strain the strawberry syrup with a sieve, push down to get all the juice out. Discard the leftover strawberry mash. Refrigerate the syrup for 2 hours or overnight.
- Add ice to a jar, pour in the lemon juice, and 5-6 tbsp of the strawberry syrup. Top it off with water and add the simple syrup. Stir together and enjoy!
